It's currently around 70° here in New York...in February. This can't help but put us in a tropical mood so we've mixed up this tiki-themed beer cocktail that we hope you enjoy!
Hopped Up Nui Nui
makes 1 drink
2 oz amber rum
1 oz IPA (we used Left Hand Brewing Introvert IPA)
1/2 oz lime juice
1/2 oz orange juice
1/4 oz cinnamon syrup
1/4 oz Don’s Spices #2*
1 dash Angostura bitters or (our favorite) The Bitter Truth Jerry Thomas' Own Decanter bitters
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake. Strain into an ice-filled glass and garnish with some fun tiki flair.
*We couldn't get our hands on any Don's Spices #2 so we made our own! Just mix equal parts allspice dram with vanilla syrup.
