This recipe is a lightly adapted version of a recipe created by San Francisco bartender, Kevin Diedrich. Essentially, it is a whiskey sour with the addition of white ale, orange marmalade, and bitters. It’s a light, crisp, and refreshing drink that is sure to have you dreaming of summer.
makes 1 drink
2 oz whiskey
3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
1 bar spoon or teaspoon of agave
1 bar spoon or teaspoon of orange marmalade
2 dashes orange bitters
2 oz white ale
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice and gently shake. Strain over fresh ice cubes into a highball glass and garnish with a lemon twist.
